Brighter, Safer Play Area With New Hadco LED Bollards

At this San Bruno HOA community, the existing fluorescent bollard lights around the neighborhood park had completely deteriorated from years of salt-air exposure. The failing fixtures left the pathways dim and unsafe—especially for kids playing after sunset.

Owens Electric & Solar was brought in to restore safety and visibility throughout the park.

What We Did

Removed & responsibly disposed of all old fluorescent bollard lights

Supplied and installed 11 brand-new Hadco LED bollards

Reused the existing anchor bolts and underground wiring, saving the HOA money

Ensured everything was properly tested and fully operational

The Results

The transformation was immediate. The new LED bollards deliver crisp, bright, energy-efficient lighting with far better coverage than the old fluorescents. Kids can now play safely into the evening, and the HOA gained long-lasting, low-maintenance lighting that stands up to the coastal environment.
