Hillsborough, CA – 60 kW Kohler Whole-House Generator Installation

We recently completed the installation of a powerful 60 kW Kohler natural gas generator for a home in Hillsborough, CA. After experiencing several 4-day PG&E power outages this year, the homeowner needed a reliable backup power solution to keep their entire home running without interruption.

To support the generator, we installed a 200-foot natural gas line directly from the PG&E gas meter. We also integrated two 200-amp automatic transfer switches, each tapped into the home's two 200-amp main breakers, allowing for seamless, full-home power backup during outages.

This whole-house generator system ensures continuous comfort, safety, and peace of mind—no matter how long the grid is down.
